Overview of GPA

I started taking college course while attending high school in 2005. However, at my age I did not realize the school work load. I graduated high school in 2006 and wanted to attend medical assistant school, to decided which way I will go in life. I graduated from Everest Institute June 26th 2009, however it was not enough income to support my son and me. So, I started work in a professional field to make ends meet, working 60 – 80 hours a week. In 2014, I wanted to focused and improved my GPA of 2.38 to 2.70 by retaking several courses. I withdrawal from courses, I felt will not do well and took a different course to be sufficient for my Associates of Science degree. The low grades were result of working too much, car accidents, caring for a young one and trying to stay afloat. So, I have retaken several courses to improve my GPA and have a better chance of getting accepted to a University so I am able to pursue my nursing degree. I have worked extremely hard to improve my cumulative GPA of 2.70 and science perquisites of 3.03. I have learned matureness, focus, dedication and hard work as a student, mother, and member of Prince of Peace catholic community church. I am ready to start my career and will do absolutely everything possible to prove I am dedicated to nursing school.
