Investigate the competencies needed by the advanced practice nurse:

The central competency of advanced practice nursing is direct care. Please choose one of the following prompts to address in your initial post this week.

• Consider two of the six characteristics that comprise APRN direct care, and elaborate on their use and application in your upcoming APRN practice.
